Apple’s Mac computers now command an impressive 8.6% of the global market share, thanks to the shipment of 5.3 million Mac units in the second quarter alone. While this figure may seem lower than the previous year’s quarter, which saw a total of 4.8 million Mac shipments, it’s crucial to note that the overall PC market faced a significant decline of 13.4% in year-over-year PC shipments. The market plummeted from 71.1 million units to 61.6 million units, as reported by IDC.
Apple’s success in this challenging market is attributed to the loyalty of its users and the company’s continuous efforts to enhance its products.
