Spotify has launched a new feature called SongDNA, designed to show listeners the hidden creative network behind their favorite tracks.

Rolling out globally to Premium users, the feature is integrated directly into the Now Playing screen on mobile devices. By tapping SongDNA, users can explore songwriters, producers, samples, and collaborations that contributed to a track.

The system also allows users to navigate deeper—clicking on any creator reveals other songs and artists they have worked with, creating an interactive map of musical influence.

According to Spotify, the goal is to give fans a more transparent look at how music is made while increasing recognition for behind-the-scenes contributors.

The feature is currently in beta and will expand to all Premium users throughout April.
